Stephenson's Rocket is a rerelease of a classic Reiner Knizia game from Australian publisher Grail Games.
This project involved a lot of visual development to streamline and modernise the gameplay experience. This involved removing the paper money from the original game, and replacing it with a points track, as well as using trackers on the board to record shares and industry investments, previously represented by cards and tokens. The result of this is a game that is far easier and quicker to set up, and that provides the relevant information during play in a clear manner.
The addition of player boards also helped to remind players of the various methods of scoring both during, and at the end of, the game.
